Second Look Task Force Community Open House (sensitive lands)
Date: Thursday February 4
Time: 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Location: West End Building, 4101 Kruse Way
Last fall, the City initiated a review of its sensitive lands program, which protects streams, wetlands, and tree groves. A citizen task force has been meeting for several months to study the issues. Their aim is to find ways to meet regional environmental standards and maintain Lake Oswego’s environmental quality, while providing greater flexibility and an easier to use process for residents and builders.
The format for this event will be small-group discussions on rotating topics. Drop-in participation is welcome.
If you have questions about the event, please contact Morgan Holen, Assistant Natural Resource Planner, at 503-635-0290 or mholen@ci.oswego.or.us. Information about the Task Force, including summaries of their meetings so far, is also available on the City website, linked from: www.ci.oswego.or.us/plan/nature
